Hi, I’m Christina

I’m a board-certified nurse practitioner and perimenopause health coach specialist who specializes in helping high-achieving, midlife women overcome the fatigue, hormonal chaos, stubborn weight gain, and silent frustration that come with perimenopause.

With over two decades of clinical experience and years spent walking this very journey myself (navigating postpartum recovery and perimenopause at the same time) I know firsthand how overwhelming and isolating this chapter can feel, even for those of us trained in medicine.

As the founder of Powerfully YOU™, I’ve helped women move beyond symptom management to experience real transformation: balanced hormones, renewed energy, sustainable weight loss, and the confidence to feel at home in their own bodies again. My work blends science-backed strategies with compassionate coaching, so every woman feels seen, supported, and empowered, not just to survive midlife, but to thrive in it.

My Journey Into Becoming A Perimenopause Health Coach Specialist Started Back In 2020... 

Not long ago, I was exactly where you might be right now: exhausted, overwhelmed, and silently wondering, “What’s happening to me?”

At 41, I had my son, and what should have been a joyful chapter quickly turned confusing and heavy. I found myself juggling postpartum recovery and perimenopause at the same time. Despite being a nurse practitioner, someone trained in medicine and women’s health, I still felt blindsided by relentless fatigue, stubborn weight gain that no workout could fix, mood swings I couldn’t explain, and a creeping sense of disconnection from my own body.

I remember staring at lab results late at night, Googling every symptom, and still waking up every morning feeling like a stranger in my own skin. I wondered why no one had prepared me for this, and why women like us, driven and educated, were left to piece it together alone.

It wasn’t until I stopped blaming my body, and started truly supporting it with the right science, strategies, and self-compassion, that everything changed. I discovered it is possible to feel strong, clear-headed, and confident again, not by pushing harder, but by working smarter and honoring what my body truly needed in this new stage of life.

That journey became the foundation of my Powerfully YOU™ program, so no woman has to face perimenopause alone, confused, or ashamed. Because you’re not broken. And you deserve to feel powerful, vibrant, and at home in your body again.

 
 

But One Day, Something Amazing Happened….

In the middle of all the lab results, late-night research, and growing frustration, I had a moment of clarity:

I realized my body wasn’t failing me, it was talking to me. And instead of fighting it with stricter diets, harder workouts, or more willpower, what I really needed was to listen and support it differently.

It finally clicked that perimenopause isn’t a problem to fix, it’s a new phase that demands a new, smarter approach: one rooted in evidence, compassion, and a true understanding of our unique midlife physiology.

That shift changed everything. Once I stopped seeing my symptoms as enemies and started understanding what my body truly needed (balanced nutrition, hormone support, strength training built for this stage, real rest, and a resilient mindset) I didn’t just feel better. I felt powerful again.

That moment lit the spark for what eventually became the Powerfully YOU™ program: a holistic, science-backed path to help other women stop battling their bodies and start partnering with them, so they, too, can step into midlife feeling stronger, clearer, and more confident than ever.

Once I finally stopped fighting my body and learned how to support it.. everything shifted.

The stubborn weight that felt impossible to lose began to melt away, not through punishing cardio or starvation diets, but by nourishing myself with balanced, hormone-supportive nutrition and strength training built for this chapter of life. My sleep returned, deeper and more restorative than it had been in years, and I started waking up with genuine energy, not dread.

Mentally, the brain fog lifted. I felt sharper at work, more present at home, and more connected to the people I love. The guilt, irritability, and quiet shame that had crept into my relationships faded, replaced by patience and a renewed sense of calm.
